چکیده
Abstract The heterogeneity in extracellular vesicles (EVs) introduces an extra level of complexity small EV‐based liquid biopsy for cancer diagnosis. Surface plasmon resonance microscopy (SPRM) offers sensitive and multifunctional analysis single tiny EVs. However, the EV SPRM image has been extremely laborious time‐consuming due to low contrast bad signal‐to‐noise ratio. Herein, we present a digital analyzer (DEA), software package, automatic data platform. This package enabled fully automated identification, counting, sizing EV, quantification dwell time. Integrated with classification algorithm intelligent searching subpopulation analysis, DEA was able accurately group EVs five different origins. We hope this tool would largely promote application technology into diagnosis

متن کاملMultiphoton plasmon-resonance microscopy.
A novel method for detection of noble-metal nanoparticles by their nonlinear optical properties is presented and applied for specific labeling of cellular organelles. When illuminated by laser light in resonance with their plasmon frequency these nanoparticles generate an enhanced multiphoton signal. This enhanced signal is measured to obtain a depth-resolved image in a laser scanning microscop...
متن کاملDual-Wavelength Surface Plasmon Resonance for Determining the Size and Concentration of Sub-Populations of Extracellular Vesicles.
Accurate concentration determination of subpopulations of extracellular vesicles (EVs), such as exosomes, is of importance both in the context of understanding their fundamental biological role and of potentially using them as disease biomarkers. In principle, this can be achieved by measuring the rate of diffusion-limited mass uptake to a sensor surface modified with a receptor designed to onl...
متن کاملFabrication and Characterization of the Fiber Optical Taper for a Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor
For a fiber optical surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor a short part of its cladding should be removed to coat a thin layer of a metal. Usually this is problematic when an optical fiber with small core diameter is used. In this paper, a new method using µliter droplet of the HF acid for short fiber optical taper fabrication is reported. Using this method in a multi-mode optical fiber w...
